2010 NEFAR Events Schedule

Below is a list of currently scheduled NEFAR launches. The launch dates are subject to change or cancellation so check back often to verify the next launch.

All NEFAR launches at Clegg Sod Farm have an engine Impulse range of A-M.

Our ability to fly is limited by the current Drought Index. 

If the drought index for the sod farm area is 600 or above we can't fly there.

Launch Cancellation Policy

If a launch is scrubbed, a notice will be placed on this web site and an email will be sent to everyone on the NEFAR Mailing list.
If there is no notice that a launch is scrubbed, then the launch is ON.

Ground Support Setup 8:00AM   -   10:00AM
Launch Shift 1 10:00AM -   11:30AM
Lunch and Activity Break 11:30AM -   12:30PM
Launch Shift 2 12:30PM  -   2:00PM
Launch Shift 3 2:00PM    -   3:30PM
Launch Shift 4 (Only during daylight savings time) 3:30PM    -   5:00PM
Ground Support Teardown Begins 3:30PM or 5:00PM depending on schedule

Schedule may be altered the day of the launch to accommodate weather or special events

Notice:

After 1:00 PM amateur motors are allowed at all launches.
This means that all certification attempts must take place prior to that time.

NEFAR launches are scheduled monthly. Alternate launch dates occur on the 4th Saturday of each month. In case of severe drought conditions, or inclement weather, alternative activities may be scheduled.

*Flyers wishing to fly amateur motors must contact a NEFAR officer prior to the date of the launch. 
This only applies to amateur motors and not regular certified motors.
